Webb Gray are excited to announce that plans to develop a new European headquarters for TATA Technologies in Warwick are well underway. The global engineering services firm is investing £16 million into the purpose built state of the art headquarters at Tachbrook Park, Warwick. The new offices, which received planning permission from Warwick District Council a month ago, will be built on a 3.8 acre site by Leamington-based developers AC Lloyd. It will provide TATA Technologies with a contemporary, 60,000sqft headquarters from which all of their UK and Europeans operations will be based. The development also signifies the company’s commitment to the UK as it forms an essential component of its continued growth strategy sparking the creation of 200 additional jobs in TATA Technologies for design engineers and programme managers. The new headquarters sparks the creation of opportunities at all levels for, from graduate to senior roles. The building will occupy 600 staff in total.
Situated within the 132 acres of Tachbrook Park, TATA Technologies Headquarters is in an ideal location close to the town centres of both Warwick and Leamington-Spa. Tachbrook Park is the ideal for the new offices as it is surrounded by commercial/industrial character and has easy access to the M40 motorway. Webb Gray during the design process adopted a design strategy that optimised the sites location amongst the commercial character that dominates the sites surroundings, whilst also integrated the notion of greater permeability and connectivity within the site. The principals of the design see a commercially attractive unit that uses simplistic building forms with adaptable internal layouts that respond to the changing market and occupier demand. Care in material choice and detail will see Webb Gray’s design seek to achieve a BREAM excellent rating that will also in keep with TATA Technologies principals of longevity and state of the art design with the future a key thought. Webb Gray are delighted to be working with TATA Technologies and are excited to continue work on the new headquarters.
